Lucy: A Ladybug’s Life
was written with the goal to help introduce the wonder of and inspire a love for God and His creation in young children, to direct them to the Lord as Redeemer and Savior, and to help them to see His hand affecting the world and life around them, including their own.
At a young age, the author discovered a love of God’s creation and watching things grow. Some of her earliest memories include catching and caring for insects with childhood friends. Over the years, this grew to include keeping journals of the insects’ lives, as well as capturing the different transitions of metamorphosis through the lens of her camera, which she still enjoys doing today.
